TLE OREGANO – Hungary

Origanum vulgare

Oregano essential oil is derived from the bushy perennial oregano plant and is considered loaded with antioxidants and powerful compounds that deliver its antimicrobial, antiviral, and antifungal, anti-inflammatory qualities. Antioxidants help prevent free radicals and oxidative stress, which damage the skin. When used aromatically, pure oregano essential oil is heralded for promoting feelings of better breathing. It is studied for support of improved appearance of acne and other skin concerns. Applied topically, it encourages feelings of balance and centering, ushering in calming thoughts.

Aromatically:

Add 3-4 drops of TLEO Oregano, or 1-2 drops in a blend with other TLEO singles, to clean, distilled water in the TLEO Aroma Diffuser.

Topically:

Blend 1 drop of TLEO Oregano in 10 drops of TLEO FCO. May cause skin sensitivity. Always perform a skin check for reaction first, and avoid areas of sensitive skin.

In the Home:

Add 10 drops of TLEO Oregano to distilled water to fill a sustainable TLEO Amber Glass Large Spray Bottle (16 oz.). Shake gently but well before each use. Use as a natural, chemical-free surface cleaner. Store in a cool, dark place, away from direct light. Add white vinegar and TLEO Rosemary for a more antiseptic solution.
